What a wild week it was! While I tune out the droll of statemen going about their ongoing litigations, let’s look at the biggest winners and losers of the dyNASTY week!
The vultures are circling Justin Time like seniors before a continental breakfast. ESPN gives them 1% playoff hope:
Pittman’s Hitman moves into second place overall off big play from TLAW and Rhamondre Stephenson of the Patriots. If the season ended now, they’d get the 1 seed bye.
Angry Momma’s dropped a big game to the now 4-2 Corn Dogs! Beware the Dogs! They had a great day, and Angry Momma’s were only 1.5 big games away from victory.
Now 5-1 sitting atop the monstrous West, Trev’s Bag of D’s did just enough to eek out victory over Step Team, who literally DIDN’T HAVE A QUARTERBACK THAT COULD START THIS WEEK. Go take a look for yourself. NVM, I’ll do it for you: J. Winston (out), D.Carr (bye), J. Goff (bye), T. Huntley (backup). The margin of victory was a single PAT. Wild!
Augusta Nat’l and Team Duckbutt would have slaughtered any other team this week, but instead had to slug it out in a nailbiter all weekend. Back and forth massive performances by the likes of Matty Ice Ryan and Good Ju Ju Smith-Schuster had this matchup TIGHT headed into MNF, where Kicker Brendan McManus put the Dillos on his back, nearly outscoring his own QB Russ the Fuss Wilson.
The Potland Greasers put out an absolute stinker, high off a big win last week, and fall to 4-2. Team Dube put up the Dub and fights their way back into contention at 3-3.
Play 4 Rings moves to 2-4 off the win over Joe Buck Yourself, whose roster looks way better than 1-5.
There are two 5-1 teams: Pittman’s Hitman and Trev’s Bag of D’s. The Wild West of 4-2 teams include Angry Momma, Army Dillos, Potland Greasers and The Corn Dogs. The Least East of 3-3: Duckbutt and Dube. Alone at 2-4 sit Rings in the Valley. Two Teams own a 1-5 bill, Joe Buck Yourself and Step Team. Justin Time, maybe next year you won’t have 850 PA through 6 weeks.
