In the year 2020, the usually sleepy land of Covidia erupted into war. Resistance is the story of common folks forced to make difficult decisions in uncertain times. I will publish a new chapter of these unlikely heroes’ legacies each week, and don’t worry, it has nothing to do with Covid-19. Tune in on Friday mornings for a five to ten-minute read, or save them up and binge! Resistance will drop you into the lives of ordinary folk forced to look evil in the eye. Who will prevail?
First three chapters coming this Friday, January 27th! Too excited to wait? Consider A Wild Bill Tale a prologue to Resistance! https://therealzsmith.com/2022/10/18/a-wild-bill-tale/
Codivia is a fantasy land filled with creatures of all species, shapes, and sizes. Frederick runs a fleet of commercial fishing ships in the capital Faucberg, ground-zero for anti-magic sentiment. Gertrude serves her Queen, a fickle deity who has recently started sending her disturbing dreams. Yrsa wants childhood to be over so she can start her journey to knighthood. Wild Bill is taking things day-by-day, hoping to fund his nomadic lifestyle by matching bizarre products to Covidians with some coin to spare. All play pivotal roles in the future of their home.
